In April, New York saw a year-over-year increase in mobile sports betting revenue and handle. However, the state also experienced a month-over-month decrease.
The player spending for the month was $1.54bn. This is 10.8% more than the $1.39bn spent in April 2022, but 14.0% less than the $1.79bn wagered by March of this year.
The gross gaming revenue also followed a similar trend. In April, the $138.8m was up 33.3% from the $104.1m of the same month in last year’s figures, but down 14.7% from the $162.8m recorded in March.
