Rwanda Halts Forzza Gaming Operations for Licensing Violations

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has ordered Forzza Gaming to halt its operations immediately after uncovering that the operator was offering casino-type games in violation of its licensing conditions. Forzza Gaming, which is operated by Baron Sports Gaming Ltd., must cease all gaming activities along with any advertising and marketing initiatives until further notice.

The RDB warned the public against using Forzza's services during this suspension. The regulatory agency emphasized that licensed operators are obligated to comply with the terms of their licenses, with non-compliance potentially leading to penalties, including suspension or revocation of licenses. Any continuation of operations by Forzza during this suspension will result in additional penalties for the operator.

This decision follows Rwanda's resumption of gambling licensing, during which licenses were issued to Betway, ElephantBet, and ForteBet after a year-long hiatus. The RDB has also implemented a new Gambling Policy designed to enhance regulatory oversight, encourage compliance, and foster sustainable growth in Rwanda's gambling industry.
