Bayes Esports, in partnership with ESL FACEIT Group and ESL FACEIT Group has expanded its relationship to become exclusive provider of match data for tournaments like the ESL Pro Tour.

Under the terms of the strategic match data partnership, which runs until 2025, Germany-headquartered Bayes Esports now has the rights for several esports leagues, tournaments and events hosted by EFG, comprising all ESL Pro Tour in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) competitions, ESL Impact and FACEIT Collegiate CS:GO Tournaments, and all of EFG’s Dota 2 properties.

This partnership represents an extension of the previous agreements. Both parties claim that the infrastructure for match data is essential to esports reaching its potential.

The two businesses will create a team dedicated to innovation in data-driven content, and EFG has access to Bayes Esports’ existing product portfolio. They also said that they would continue their collaboration on the best practices for protecting the integrity of the esports industry, including the Bayes Esports integrity market monitoring system and rightsholder protection.

Martin Dachselt is the chief executive of Bayes Esports and the managing director. He said, “It’s a sign that we’re on the right path and what we’re doing has caught on among the most influential players in the industry. It’s also an important statement to the gray market that exists within the esports industry.

The leader in competitive gaming and esports, with data on over 12,000 games, is at our side. We can continue shaping esports based on official data. We will also ensure that the biggest events are held to the highest standards and those who harm the development of the industry by offering improper products and services, won’t be given any quarter.

This partnership includes new Bayes Esports data-driven brand integrations at broadcast segments as well as live events. Bayes also will develop content creation solutions that are data-driven, automated and tailored to EFG’s partners. This includes the Project V tool which automatically syncs video with data in order to produce content like highlight videos that can be shared on social media.

Bernhard Mogk is the senior vice president of EFG’s global business strategy and commercial development. He said, “During the past two years, together with Bayes Esports, we have been able to set uniform standards in industry for official data. We are leading the way in protecting and promoting integrity within esports because of our collaborative initiatives.

We are thrilled to be continuing our strategic partnership for a long time and continue to innovate in data-driven solutions in order to add value to the ecosystem.
