GambleID is adding a globally recognized expert to its Advisory Board.

The Texas-based payment management and anti-fraud solutions provider has announced the appointment of Dr. Laila Mintas to its Advisory Board. Mintas, who has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming sector, will provide GambleID with her expertise and guidance to support the advancement of compliance and integrity in the gaming industry.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Laila Mintas to our Advisory Board,” said GambleID founder and CEO JD Garner. “Her deep understanding of the gaming industry and her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity will be invaluable as we continue to grow and deepen our hold in the gaming industry. Dr. Mintas’ insights will help us set new benchmarks in the industry, ensuring that our clients can operate securely and efficiently.”

Mintas is joining GambleID’s Advisory Board as the company continues to build a portfolio of partners that serves operators and gambling brands across the world. GambleID, which reaches roughly 33 million players globally, has partnerships with DraftKings and Betsson Group. The company also has a footprint in daily fantasy sports through SuperDraft.

GambleID has also been integral in educating industry leaders. Earlier this year, the company co-sponsored SBC’s Digital Innovation – Payment Expert event. The event, presented in partnership with PXP Financial, covered key topics in the industry including a discussion that included Garner on the use of biometric technology to counter fraud.
