IGT and Svenska Spel extend long-term collaboration

International Game Technology has extended its partnership with Sweden’s Svenska Spel.

IGT continues to offer video lottery services and technology to the operator under the terms of the contract.

The Intelligen central software, the over 4,000 Quasar VLTs and IGTPay technology will be included.

This contract extension will extend the relationship, which began in 1996, until January 2027.

Ola Enquist is the Sveska Spel Business Area Manager for Casino Cosmopol. She said: “Considering IGT’s critical role in Svenska Spel’s growth and modernisation we are happy to extend our partnership by three more years.”

IGT provides Svenska Spel with the content, technology and service that will enable us to grow responsibly and provide our customers and employees with future innovation and next-generation experiences.

Mark MacCombie is IGT’s Senior Vice President for Gaming in EMEA. He added, “IGT has a proven strategy for servicing the Swedish market. We look forward to building on that foundation and helping Svenska Spel reach its growth goals for another three years.”
