Affinity Interactive, a multichannel media and online gaming company, has named Scott Butera its new President and CEO.
Butera will be responsible for the strategy, operations and management of Affinity Interactive casino resorts in Nevada, Missouri and Iowa. He will lead the print and digital media platforms including Daily Racing Form.
Andrei Scrivens was named CEO of Affinity Interactive by the November 2022.
Butera is a gambling industry veteran who has held several senior positions during his long career. Most recently, he was CEO of Sports Information Group where he developed retail and business product and optimized ecommerce sales.
He was previously president of Fubo Gaming, and also served as the president of MGM Resorts International’s interactive gaming. Between 2015 and 2018 he was the commissioner of Arena Football League.
In the gambling industry, he has also served as president and CEO at Foxwoods Resort Casino. He also served as chief operating officer of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, President of Metroflag Management, and President and COO for Trump Entertainment Resorts.
Butera will oversee strategic long-term priorities

James Zenni Jr., founder, President and CEO of ZCG and Affinity Interactive, and James Zenni Jr., Chairman of Affinity, welcomed this appointment. Butera was commended for his experience in the gaming industry.

This appointment follows a spate of high-level hires made at Affinity in the past year.
Halise Uysal, a seasoned executive who has worked at Eide Bailly, Chumash Enterprises and Caesars Entertainment before joining the company in May of last year. Uysal previously worked at Eide Bailly and Chumash Enterprises.
Scott Butera was also named chief executive officer of Affinity Sports Information Group in March. Brad Egnor has also joined Affinity Interactive as the chief marketing officer of artificial intelligence.
