In the ever-evolving landscape of U.S. iGaming, bet365 provides insights into which online slots are gaining traction among players. Their monthly Gaming Insights and Performance report highlights trends using an algorithm that evaluates around 7,500 slots, gauging metrics like revenue, stakes, sessions, and overall engagement.

This report covers over 20 online casino markets, including five in North America: Alberta, Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Notably, the September 2026 edition featured online slots from West Virginia for the first time, following bet365's launch of online sports betting and casino in the state in late August. This marked West Virginia as the fourth U.S. market and the sixth North American jurisdiction where bet365 operates both betting options concurrently.

In West Virginia, the top slot during September was ReelPlay's Hypernova Megaways, leading the chart ahead of a Jimi Hendrix-themed slot from Evolution's NetEnt, which integrates some of the legendary guitarist's greatest hits. Big Time Gaming’s Extra Chilli, another title from the Evolution family, rounded out the top three. The high rankings of iconic slot franchises indicated West Virginia players' preferences during bet365's inaugural month of operation. IGT's Cash Eruption had three titles featured in the top ten, securing fourth, fifth, and ninth place, while Light & Wonder's Huff N' Lots of Puff achieved eighth.

Meanwhile, Hypernova Megaways retained its position as the top game on bet365's platform in Michigan, having clinched the number one spot in August. Michigan’s also ranked the Cash Eruption and Huff N’ Puff franchise among its top ten slots, while a new entry, Hacksaw Gaming's R.I.P. City, emerged at number two. Light & Wonder's titles, Dancing Drums Tower and Ultimate Fire Link China Street, made significant strides, jumping 26 and 20 spots, respectively, to enter the top five, just behind IGT's original Cash Eruption.

In New Jersey, while Cash Eruption High Stakes and Huff N’ Even More Puff Grand occupied the top three spots, it was actually Piggy Payouts Bank Buster LuckyTap from Design Works Gaming that claimed the first-place position, rising 11 spots compared to August. The top six saw further gains with Jin Ji Bao Xi – Endless Treasure from Light & Wonder and Playtech’s Alohawaii: Collect 'Em both climbing substantially. New entries into New Jersey’s top 10 included 7’s Fire Blitz Hotstepper High Limit (White Hat Studios) at fifth place, Jin Chan Cash (Inspired Entertainment) at seventh, and 777 Hot Reels Supercharged (Octoplay) at tenth.

In Pennsylvania, NetEnt’s Parthenon: Quest for Immortality took the lead, leaping 23 positions to become the most popular slot for September. Capital Gains from AGS followed in second, with the formidable Cash Eruption settling for third. Additionally, the Huff N’ Puff series had two titles in the top seven, showing a strong performance in the state.

bet365 also monitors slot performance in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Ontario, alongside the country's overall statistics. The Canadian rankings displayed notable contrasts to those in the U.S. Area Link Phoenix Firestorm reclaimed the number one position nationally after slipping to second the previous month. It also topped Ontario's chart. SpinPlay Games' Amazing Link series had two slots in the top ten in Canada, with Amazing Link Zeus ranked second, while Amazing Link Zeus Boost dramatically climbed 35 places to finish third. Bet365 noted that September was marked by robust momentum for the Area Link, Amazing Link, and Gold Blitz slots, the latter also being part of the Games Global portfolio.
