OpenBet, a prominent global provider of betting and gaming technology, has announced an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a firm specializing in sportsbook technology. This move consolidates OpenBet's status as the preferred partner for lotteries around the globe. The deal, which is pending regulatory approval, is anticipated to close by the end of 2026.
With this acquisition, OpenBet will broaden its reach in the regulated lottery markets, benefiting from OmniLogic’s established operator relationships and expertise in sportsbook technology. Upon finalization of the deal, OpenBet will enhance its role as the leading provider of solutions for sports betting and platforms to World Lottery Association (WLA) members worldwide.
OmniLogic has served significant regulated lottery operators and WLA members for over ten years, facilitating omnichannel betting across retail, online, and mobile platforms. Their technology supports comprehensive operations, including trading, risk management, and backend functionalities.
The acquisition will also see OmniLogic's specialized team from Győr, Hungary, integrated into OpenBet, bringing vital technical knowledge and a wealth of experience in the field of sportsbook technology across various channels.
This merger is expected to further amplify OpenBet's scale, technical capabilities, and operational strength, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable partner for Tier 1 operators in complex and highly regulated betting markets globally.
Nikos Konstakis, President of OpenBet, emphasized that the company's leadership stems from partnerships with top operators in demanding regulated markets, and acquiring OmniLogic is a logical progression of that approach. He stated, "It adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement our existing capabilities and strengthen our global business."
Konstakis also highlighted that lotteries are central to OpenBet's growth strategy and praised OmniLogic's reputation built through long-term customer relationships and insights into client needs.
Co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor expressed their commitment to delivering reliable technology and strong partnerships. They noted that joining OpenBet will enable them to enhance their offerings and provide clients with a greater range of capabilities while maintaining the continuity and specialist knowledge they are known for.
The acquisition promises to create exciting opportunities for the OmniLogic team as it becomes part of a leading global sportsbook organization dedicated to the lottery sector.
