Stats Perform, a data provider, has signed an exclusive contract to remain as the Women’s Tennis Association’s (WTA’s) rights partner until 2030.

Stats Perform has signed an extension agreement with the Women’s Tennis Association to continue as the exclusive data partner.

Stats Perform, the WTA’s official data provider, will remain in this role under the terms of the contract. Stats Perform will deliver a data feed derived exclusively from umpires for all matches, as well as an ultrafast feed collected by Opta analysts.

Opta analysts’ data will contain detailed match statistics including rallies and shot levels. Stats Perform claims that this will improve the live insights available to WTA match viewers. This will help to power new broadcasting, betting and second-screen experiences.

Extend until 2030

Stats Perform has been the official WTA data provider since 2020, when they signed a six-year initial contract. The new contract, which was announced on the 8th of December, runs until the end the decade.

Stats Perform will continue to supply AI-enhanced Opta data for WTA matches to licensed sportsbooks. Stats Perform will continue to offer its live streaming video service for enhanced betting experiences.

In 2020, STATS perform signed a six-year contract with the WTA.

Alex Rice, Stats Perform’s chief commercial officer, commented on the agreement: “We are honored and delighted to continue our relationship with WTA. They are an extremely progressive and professional sport organisation.

We’re both proud of the achievements our teams have made together. “We’re thrilled to keep elevating fan and betting experiences.”

Marina Storti is the chief executive officer of WTA Ventures. She stated, “We’re excited to continue our successful partnership Stats Perform.

The data and insights that they offer are important to our plans for driving fan engagement by product innovation and enhanced experiences.

This provider extension is just the latest of a series of agreements made in the tennis sport. Stats Perform distributes data exclusively for the Australian Open. Stats Perform also has rights to Wimbledon, the ITF Davis Cup World Group and other major tennis events.

Stats Perform was recognized earlier this year, when it received the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA’s) highest mark for data integrity and quality. The award was won by the service provider for the third year in a row.

Sportradar, a rival company, signed a deal for six years with the Men’s Tour in March.
