SkyCity Entertainment appointed Jason Walbridge to be its new Chief Executive Officer. Walbridge brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry.
The current interim CEO Callum Mallett, subject to regulatory approvals as usual, will remain in the position until Walbridge takes over the role. Walbridge is expected to take on the role in early July, following his return to New Zealand.
SkyCity Board chair, Julian Cook said: “The Board is pleased to announce Jason’s appointment as SkyCity CEO and we look forward to his valuable contribution to the business.”
Jason has extensive experience both in land-based gaming and online gaming, which will enable him to successfully lead SkyCity into its next phase.
Walbridge has extensive experience in the gaming industry, including NYX Gaming Group Light & Wonder, Aristocrat Gaming where he served as executive leadership and currently is a strategic advisor for its proposed purchase of NeoGames. He also serves as the Executive Chairman of National Entertainment Network.
