Mohegan NeoGamesand Star Gold Coast have all seen their team members change recently.
Mohegan
Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority appointed Joseph J Hasson to the position of interim Chief operating officer. Hasson is currently General Manager at Mohegan casino in Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Hasson, effective August 1, 2020, will replace Jody Mdigan as COO. Jody has resigned from the position and is taking leave until his departure.
Hasson, who will report to the President and CEO Ray Pineault as well as his existing role of General Manager, is expected to retain this position, pending any necessary approvals or regulatory filings.
Mohegan said that Hasson’s more than forty years of experience in gaming and hospitality made him an “obvious pick”. He was also COO at Station Casinos, and Red Rock Resorts.
Pineault said: “Joseph J Hasson is exceptionally qualified for maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.
We are confident in Joe’s experience and leadership to ensure continuity of our operations.
The Star
Star Entertainment Group announced that Jessica Mellor CEO of Star Gold Coast had tendered his resignation to operator’s board effective May 24, 2020.
The Star Gold Coast’s General Manager for Gaming, Ian Brown will assume additional duties as Acting CEO, subject to regulatory approval. Mellor agreed to support the transition until September 2024.
Mellor was named CEO of The Star Gold Coast in October 2023. She is the youngest woman and first woman to hold this position. Mellor was the previous COO for the property, starting in 2019.
She was instrumental in helping to make the Gold Coast a “famous tourism and entertainment destination, with the creation of a $2 billion masterplan as part of a consortium of joint ventures”.
The Star is currently searching for a new Chief Executive Officer for their Gold Coast location.
The Star Gold Coast’s Executive Chair, David Foster noted that Jessica has guided The Star Gold Coast during some difficult times, including COVID, and she has played a key role in developing The Star Gold Coast into an iconic, world-class, integrated destination resort.
Jessica has made the decision to leave The Star Gold Coast and I personally thank her for all of the hard work she did as its CEO.
PAGCOR
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation named Wilma Eima to the position of President and Chief operating officer.
Eisma, the first woman to hold the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer at the Agency, succeeds Atty Juanito Snoasa, Jr who left the post in January.
Eisma is a lawyer and has graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University. She was a former member of the Development Bank of the Philippines board of directors.
She has also held key positions with the Department of Trade and Industry and PMFTC Inc., the Philippine affiliate of Philip Morris International.
PAGCOR chair Alejandro Tengco commented on Eisma’s appointment: “We are pleased to welcome Atty. Wilma Eisma, as PAGCOR’s new president and COO.
We know that she is a valuable asset and will put her experience both in the public and private sector to great use.
NeoGames
Christopher Shaban has been added to the leadership team of NeoGames as Managing director of iLottery.
Shaban’s appointment is part of Aristocrat‘s acquisition plans, which are expected to be completed in the second half of 2024.
Shaban joined NeoGames as the EVP for Global Business and Customer Development in 2021. He has over 27 years’ experience in the global lotteries industry.
Moti malul said that Chris is highly respected in the lottery business and his record speaks for itself. “I am delighted about Chris’ appointment, and I look forward to watching him lead our ilottery company forward.”
Shaban is now in charge of all global ilottery activities, which includes new customer and business growth as well as continuing the expansion of the group’s ilottery solutions and its own game studio NeoGames Studio.

EPIC
EPIC Global Solutions has announced the departure of Mark Potter, who served as Head of Delivery and was the company’s second-longest-serving member of staff.
Potter joined EPIC nine years ago as a live experience facilitator, working with EPIC’s Founder and CEO Paul Buck, before becoming Head of Delivery.
EPIC stated that Potter has played an important role in its work for many years. He shared his gambling story with thousands of people at risk to educate them and make a “real impact” on the global business.
EPIC stated, “We thank Mark for all his efforts to protect others and wish him the very best in the future.”
Aspire Global
Aspire Global is a NeoGames division that has named Jonathan Chilton to the position of Managing Director.
Chilton has over 19 years experience in igaming, and previous work across B2B as well as B2C.
He was previously Chief Operating Officer at GM Gaming Limited and an Executive Director of Betway under the Super Group. He led its expansion into several regulated European market while also serving as a board member for seven licensed companies.
