PrizePicks is gearing up to launch in two more states.

The largest daily fantasy sports operator in North America announced it has been awarded DFS operator licenses in Delaware and Missouri and will launch its Arena peer-to-peer fantasy sports contest in both states.

PrizePicks will announce a product launch next week.

“We are proud that Arena has been approved in every state where it has been submitted,” said CEO Mike Ybarra. “We’ve seen strong player adoption to date and we look forward to replicating our success in these new markets with a fun gaming experience.

“We’d like to extend our gratitude to the Delaware Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Delaware Lottery, and the Missouri Gaming Commission for their thoughtful collaboration.”

Arena offers a leaderboard-style P2P gaming experience that allows players to compete for prizes against one another. Once it has entered both Delaware and Missouri, it will be live in 15 states as well as Washington, D.C. It also offers its games across Canada, except for Ontario.

The Arena product most recently went live in New Hampshire in August.

PrizePicks making moves under new CEO Ybarra

PrizePicks has continued to strike deals and look toward further expansion since former Blizzard Entertainment president and Microsoft executive Ybarra stepped in to replace founder Adam Wexler as CEO in August. Wexler transitioned into a new role as Executive Chairman.

The company is said to be working with Moelis & Co. to look at potential M&A opportunities. It has also announced several new partnerships in the last couple of months.

In August, it confirmed it had signed comedian and actor Drew “Druski” Desbordes as a brand ambassador. Druski featured alongside fellow ambassadors UFC bantamweight champion Sean “Suga” O’Malley, sports betting personality Trent Attyah, and music artist Joe Budden in a new advertising campaign ahead of the NFL season.

Alongside Arena, it also now offers a new free-to-play contest, Streak, which allows fans to compete for an opportunity to pocket up to $1 million by picking one player projection per day to build a series of consecutive winning picks.

And in September, the Georgia-based operator teamed up with gambling harm consultancy EPIC Global Solutions to expand its RG initiatives.
