Lottery courier service Jackpot.com is now available in eight states with its launch in Arizona on Tuesday.
“We could not be more excited to launch in Arizona and offer the people of The Grand Canyon State a more convenient way to play the lottery,” said CEO and Co-Founder Akshay Khanna. “With Jackpot, Arizonians will be able to purchase lottery tickets and scratchers from wherever they want on their mobile devices. By improving access, we’re happy to help Arizonians contribute to the great causes that are supported by the Arizona Lottery.”
Services available to Arizona residents include purchasing draw game tickets for games like Mega Millions and Powerball. The company will also offer its digital scratch tickets Scratchers.
The games offered under Scratchers include Lady Luck, $230 Million Cash Explosion, Instant Millions and 500x Fortune. Users can “scratch” their screen to learn the amount of money won. While the online interface mimics online scratch-off games, the company’s business model is traveling to lottery establishments within the stae and providing tickets and scratchers to residents.
Jackpot.com is now available in Arkansas, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Texas as well as Arizona. The group also has a deal with 7-Eleven.
Shortly after Christmas, a Jackpot.com user in New Jersey won $2 million via a ticket purchased on Jackpot.com.
Lottery couriers are a fast-growing vertical in the gaming industry but remain unregulated in most markets. Tribes in Texas recently encouraged state lawmakers to take action and regulate or limit operators. In 2023, Jackpot.com announced plans to spend millions establishing a presence in the Lone Star State.
