Greentube has launched in Connecticut, expanding its U.S. footprint to another regulated iGaming market.
The NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division was granted a license to operate in the state back in February 2023 and has finally taken its games live in the market with its first customer, which Greentube did not name in its press release. The company added that further operator partnerships in Connecticut are in the pipeline.
Greentube is operational in numerous core iGaming markets in North America, also including Michigan, New Jersey and Ontario.
“We are delighted to continue our US expansion and bring our content to Connecticut, a state that has quickly embraced the potential of iGaming,” said CFO Michael Bauer.
“It is our goal to support our customers in as many US states as possible. Therefore, this launch ensures our titles will reach a wide audience, offering players the chance to experience the unique entertainment that defines the Greentube brand. This go-live is an exciting new venture, and we look forward to forming additional partnerships in the state in the near future.”
Greentube adds Hard Rock to New Jersey roster
The Connecticut launch comes just days after Hard Rock Digital became the latest online casino operator to add Greentube content to its portfolio in New Jersey.
Greentube said in its announcement of the Hard Rock hook-up that North America “remains a region of key strategic importance” for the company.
In recent months, it has supported its mission of growth in the region with a number of big partnerships, not least a landmark deal with market leader FanDuel in multiple states, beginning in Michigan and New Jersey in September. Greentube also has deals with the likes of Rush Street Interactive and BetMGM in Michigan and Caesars Digital in both New Jersey and Michigan.
Bauer recently told SBC Americas editor Jessica Welman that the company, already live in Canada in Ontario, will step into Alberta if and when that province opens a commercial regulated online gaming market.
