The UK’s first Esports Betting Operator, GG.bet has signed a contract with Rednines Gaming.

Rednines has acquired the rights to use GG.bet’s brand within the country. This will expand the international reach of the operator.

GG.bet is already present in Europe, South America, and Asia. Gaming regulators from the UK, Curacao, and Malta have licensed the operator.

Rednines operated previously in the UK as Dr.Bet, which offered online sports betting and casino products.

Users will be automatically redirected to the new domain GGbet.co.uk. The new domain will carry over all current accounts, including active balances.

Steps to take when preparing for a trip

GG.bet offers UK clients the chance to wager on sporting events as well as esports. The site also offers casino games and live casinos.

Sergii Mishchenko said that the acquisition marks an “important step in the development of our business”.

The UK betting market, he said, is very competitive. We decided, therefore, to keep operating with a strong brand to help us stand out from other bookmakers.

GG.bet accepts bets for over 30 different esports, such as CS:GO Dota 2 League of Legends Fortnite. Every day, the operator offers 400 matches with 350 betting markets for each match.

The operator introduced a “smart”, personalised feed last year. It offered customers the chance to customize matches and wager types.

Worldwide growth

As esports continue to gain popularity around the world, the franchise agreement is a good sign.

According to GG.bet the UK esports gambling market has grown by 47% in the last three years.

In order to do so, the operator will build on its many tournament partnerships from the last two years. The operator has signed official agreements covering PGL Stockholm, PGL Antwerp and other tournaments.

GG.bet sponsors the high-profile eSports teams NAVI Team Vitality.

In February, GG.bet expanded a partnership to include esports data provider Bayes Esports.
