AffPapa Cancun 2026: Nordic Partners Gaming to Host CS2 Challenge

Nordic Partners Gaming will host a Counter-Strike 2 challenge at the AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, scheduled for November 23 to 25 in Mexico. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to compete against professional player Lukas ā€œFreeZeā€ Hegmann in the Esports Zone during the event. Hegmann, who has extensive experience in professional Counter-Strike, has played around 8,000 matches with an impressive career win rate of 57% while representing teams like BIG, BIG Academy, and ALTERNATE aTTaX.

The activation at the conference will allow visitors not only to observe but to engage directly with the competitive gaming experience. HĆ„vard Lehn, Co-Founder and CEO of Nordic.Partners Group, emphasized the importance of providing attendees with interactive esports experiences, stating, "We want people to experience esports, not just hear about it. Bringing FreeZe to AffPapa Cancun gives attendees a chance to get behind the screen, challenge a professional player, and see the competitive side of Counter-Strike for themselves. It’s also a great way to bring the esports and iGaming communities closer together."

Throughout the event, participants will be able to challenge FreeZe, test their skills in competitive Counter-Strike, and engage with Nordic Partners Gaming at the Esports Zone. Additionally, NPG plans to hold a jersey giveaway for those who take part, offering them the chance to win an official Nordic Partners Gaming jersey.

Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO and Founder of AffPapa, expressed his enthusiasm for the added esports component, noting, "We want to make AffPapa Conference Cancun an experience where people can do more than just attend panels and meetings. Having NPG bring competitive Counter-Strike into the event gives attendees a chance to get involved and connect with the esports community in a different way. It’s a great addition to the conference, and we’re looking forward to seeing attendees take part."

The Esports Zone will enhance Nordic Partners Gaming's presence at the conference and aligns with their plans to expand into competitive esports during 2026.
