Denuvo, a global provider of anti-piracy and games protection technology has announced its “Anti-Cheat Partnership”, the first ever for ESIC.

Denuvo will work with ESIC to develop a framework for implementing anti-cheat technologies within the esports sector.

Denuvo is providing ESIC anti-cheat and data metrics reports related to integrity, industry risk and fair play. The goal of the partnership is to gain insights on industry issues and promote fairness in esports.

Denuvo also supports ESIC’s continued provision of integrity frameworks to the wider esports sector, while allowing access to their software capabilities.

Stephen Hanna is the director of ESIC’s global strategy and partnership. He said: “ESIC has announced a new category of partnerships that will strengthen the role of the anti-cheat provider in maintaining competitive integrity within esports.”

Steve Huin added that Denuvo was a “distinguished partner” to the video game industry and would be able to help us find more advanced applications of anti-cheat technologies to operate tournaments. Denuvo, as gamers themselves, is dedicated to bringing fun and fairness back to online gaming. We are thrilled that the same opportunities for fair games will be available to the players of the esports.
