Aston Villa announced a partnership with Asia-facing sportsbookmaker OB Sports. OB Sports will be its exclusive sleeve sponsor and principal partner.
Villa did not mention in its announcement of the agreement that their new partner was a gambling operator. Instead, the club described OB Sports instead as “a leading sports and entertainment platform and one that is widely recognized as being amongst Asia’s most reliable and trustworthy platforms”.
The OB Sports Logo will be featured on all of Villa’s new home and away kits in the leagues as well as cup matches for 2021-22.
Asian gaming operator LT has been replaced by the Asia-based betting company. The latter’s 1-year contract expired at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.
The club said: “OB Sports dedicates its effort to establish a secure platform for users, but also provide a diversified and high-quality experience of interactive entertainment for football enthusiasts.” OB Sports has been praised by millions of fans, and also received trust from the industry. It is widely regarded to be the leader in Asia for sports and entertainment.

The page stated: “The OUBAO Bet website is being constructed and will go live in a very short time.” Our website, once live, will offer UK players a new casino and sportsbook.
Juventus, a Serie A Italian club is another that has a sponsorship agreement with OB Sports.
Villa’s Chief Commercial Officer, Nicola Ibbetson said, “This partnership is going to help bring Aston Villa closer to international fans, and we are looking forward to a year of exciting plans with them.”
Kai Webb is the president of OB Sports’ international business. He said: “This partnership will provide fans with the best entertainment and sports experience through a collaboration between two well-known sports brands.”
