The connectivity solutions provider Continent 8 Technologies expanded its partnership to Amazon Web Services, and was selected as an official solution provider for AWS’ Solution Provider Program.

As a member of the SPP, Continent 8 will offer a range of new services for AWS cloud infrastructures and environments. Continent 8 specializes in cybersecurity and cloud computing solutions, especially those aimed at iGaming providers and sports betting operators.

New managed and professional service offerings will feature a Regul8 Guardrails tailored solution, which facilitates compliance across all cloud environments for customers while speeding up market entry times. A Managed Hybrid Network combining the power of Continent 8 with AWS will assist operators in mitigating connectivity challenges.

Continent 8 has been the leading partner for 90% of AWS Outposts delivered to gaming giants such as FanDuel Fanatics and Hard Rock Digital. The new Managed AWS Outposts Service streamlines procurement, logistics and workload migration, while allowing the customer to concentrate on their launch.

The AWS Solution Partner Program is a milestone for Continent 8’s dedication to its role as the leading provider of services and solutions to the iGaming, online sports betting and iGaming market,” stated Continent 8’s CTO Edward O’Connor. “Continent 8 is committed to delivering bespoke and trusted cloud services for its customers, whether it be hyperscale, private, public, or hybrid cloud management.”

The new Regional Sales Director of Continent 8 for North America and Jamie Garcia is responsible for the expanded partnership.

In May, the former Senior Account Executive at Gaming Laboratories International was promoted to a new position. Her previous experience in gaming spans over 10 years, and she held senior roles at several companies such as Scientific Games.

The company was approved to conduct business in Nevada two weeks earlier by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Continent is also using AWS in its partnership to enhance hybrid cloud deployments.

Since 2024, Continent 8 made several investments across North America. One of these was going live as an infrastructure provider in Vermont for three licensed online sportbooks in the state: DraftKings and FanDuel.
