Chen Si is the new President of Mohegan inspire, a South Korean integrated resort.
Wade Howk was also appointed chief operating officer of the integrated resort currently being built at a cost of $5.0bn.
In February 2016, the Mohegan Tribe received a license from the South Korean Government. The resort is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2016 at Incheon International Airport and be the largest in Northeast Asia.
Mohegan Inspire’s president and CEO, Ray Pineault, said that the new appointments demonstrate “expanding Mohegan Inspire’s horizons.”
Pineault said that Mohegan’s entry into the global marketplace is about more than just growth. It also involves sharing the legacy of the company and its spirit around the globe. Our future is bright, and I am looking forward to this new chapter with Chen Si and Wade Howk.
Experience in the Industry
Si will be overseeing the budget and plans for business as president. Si previously worked with Las Vegas Sands.
He will also serve as the representative director of the company and lead its relationships with business partners, government agencies, and other businesses.

Howk served previously as interim chief executive officer at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati and former Chief Financial Officer.

Pineault said previously that revenue generated by the integrated resort would come from “a large portion” other than gaming. According to Korean law, only foreigners can gamble legally at a casino.
