Germany-headquartered games developer Merkur has entered into a strategic agreement with Gaming Arts as part of wider plans to expand into the North American market.
Merkur, a German company based in Las Vegas, and Gaming Arts are collaborating to develop games and provide them for North American casinos.

Merkur is one among several subsidiary companies that operate as part of Gauselmann Group. Merkur developed and delivered casino games to customers in Germany as well as other markets worldwide.
Gauselmann Board member Juergen Stuehmeyer stated: “We’re excited by the enormous potential this partnership with Gaming Arts will bring to Merkur as we expand our operations into North America.”
The rapid growth of Gaming Arts and its innovation within the gaming industry has created a platform that is ideally suited for this important global market. “We look forward to [Gaming Arts’ CEO] Mike Dreitzer leading this team, in close collaboration with Merkur.”
David Colvin, owner of Gaming Arts added that this partnership was a key moment for the company. Merkur’s reputation and global reach for excellence are in line with our ambitions for innovation and growth.
Together, we will deliver an exceptional gaming experience to North American players.
