TheGamblest hosts an exclusive iGaming Talks event this week featuring Levon Nikoghosyan CEO of AffPapa & iGaming Club.

Levon discusses the iGaming Club Conference, the inaugural stand-alone conference that was highly praised by attendees, in this issue. Levon will discuss the key challenges that were faced in the planning and implementation of the conference. He’ll also cover some innovations featured at the event and the upcoming events for the year.

TheGamblest: iGaming Club Conference in Malaga was the first stand-alone event, which was highly appreciated among the attendees, Levon, did it meet your own expectations too?

Levon: For us, the iGaming Club Conference was a milestone as this marked our first standalone conference that we organized ourselves. This brought a greater sense of excitement and complexity. Our initial forecasts and expectations were far exceeded, and we are now inspired to plan for the future.

TheGamblest: Can you tell what challenges you encountered while planning and executing the conference? Do you anticipate holding it again next year at the same place and time?

Levon: The greatest challenge is organizing an event for the very first time in a different location. Numerous gaps and uncertainties exist, from unpredictable weather to transportation issues and accessibility. These factors all add to the complexity of planning. We are still determined to not only host this event next year, but to also expand it significantly. In addition to a tripled venue size, we plan on adding speed dating areas, larger booths, conference zones and other improvements. The ambitious expansion is a reflection of our desire to provide a more comprehensive and dynamic experience for attendees.

TheGamblest: For those who couldn’t attend the conference in Malaga this year, what do you think they missed out on the most?

Levon: Those who missed the Malaga conference this year have been left out of the beginning of an exciting story. The inaugural conference set the scene for a recurring event that will bring key players and figures from the iGaming sector even closer together.

TheGamblest: Could you share some detailed feedback you received from participants about the event, and how it reflected on their overall experience?

Levon: It’s been almost a month since we held our first conference at Malaga. The participants provided useful feedback. They highlighted areas like separating the registration lines, creating a bigger speaker zone, and making sure water and glasses were refreshed after every panel discussion. Participants also asked for breaks in between panel discussions. They also requested breaks between panels.

The event was a success. The conference was well organized and highly informative, which is not surprising for the first standalone event.

All delegates that traveled for our conference are appreciated. We value your feedback, which helps us to improve our conference and return stronger the next year.

TheGamblest: Levon, what were some of the key innovations discussed at the iGaming Club Conference in Malaga that set it apart from other industry events?

Levon: At the iGaming Club Conference, in Malaga many innovations were presented that made it stand out from other events in the industry. I’ll mention a few: Affiliates on the US Market. Experts discussed the challenges of North America in terms of regulatory complexity, payment processing, and competition. They also shared strategies for thriving in this profitable market. AI in iGaming: The transformative power AI has in marketing, demonstrating its ability to optimize campaigns, personalize experience, and streamline operations, was discussed. The importance of collaboration, and the mutual benefit that comes from it, was stressed in the discussion on Successful Partnerships. Revenue Growth through Player Interaction. Innovative approaches were discussed to increase revenue by enhancing player interaction, while maintaining responsible gaming. SEO Trends 2024 also discussed the newest SEO strategies, as well as upcoming trends, to provide insights into optimizing your digital presence, and adapting algorithm changes. Unfortunately, due to rushing around and dealing to questions of organization I was unable to attend all those incredible panels. I regret this.

TheGamblest: The next event by iGaming Club is scheduled on 16th July in Amsterdam, can you share some insights and tell us more about other event plans scheduled for 2024?

Levon: The iGaming Club is returning to Amsterdam on July 16th, 2024. It will bring together affiliates and operators as well as B2B service providers and provide a forum for rich discussions and opportunities for networking. My club members will confirm my statements. We don’t have much to say. All we do is pay attention to our guests and the balance they create, which results in a perfect environment for business as well as a great evening. We have announced a new iGaming Club Event in Lisbon scheduled for 23 September. Our official website has more details for those who may be interested.

TheGamblest: We’ve discovered that 2024 is going to be a busy year, and we anticipate that 2025 will also be packed with iGaming Club events. What are your current plans for the upcoming year?

Levon 2025 is going to be a very intense, busy year full of surprises. To keep up with demand, we will increase the size of the venue for our flagship conferences. iGC Malaga is scheduled for the end of the month, giving us the opportunity to organize 2 other conferences in the following months, and conquer new continents. Soon, we will have updates.

TheGamblest: As a live example of an established iGaming startup company with many accomplishments, Levon, what do you believe is the secret to creating a successful team?

Levon: It seems to me that the success of any company is a result of the people who work there. It is true for all industries and not just iGaming. In addition to the vision, the final goal and how the CEO will lead the team towards it, the skill that I believe is most crucial for a leader would be the ability to select the best employees. They are the ones who become the engine of the business ..
