iGaming Club, a branch of AffPapa, has launched its inaugural live webinar on LinkedIn, introducing a new series designed for iGaming professionals to address industry challenges, share insights, and provide practical guidance.
The webinar, conducted as a LinkedIn Live session, focused on the increasing prevalence of DMCA attacks aimed at affiliate businesses, their detrimental effects on SEO, and protective measures affiliates can implement to safeguard their operations and online presence. This session was moderated by Ivana Flynn, who was joined by four industry experts:
– Ivana Flynn, Co-founder at DMCABOSS
– Emma Elizabeth Byrne, Director of Publishing at Gentoo Media
– Sean Bianco, Co-founder at Gain Changer
– Mykhailo Kachanov, Chief Business Officer at SlotCatalog
– Daniel Lux, Managing Director & Consultant at Linxact
During the discussion, the speakers recounted their personal experiences with copyright claims, explored the reasons behind the rise in such attacks, and offered strategies for affiliates to manage fraudulent or abusive DMCA notices. They also analyzed the broader implications of takedown requests on search rankings, organic traffic, and long-term business sustainability.
This webinar represents the start of a new educational project by iGaming Club. Moving forward, the organization plans to host a monthly webinar tackling relevant topics of interest to operators, affiliates, and other iGaming professionals. Each session will include industry experts providing valuable insights, sharing real-world experiences, and engaging in discussions about market challenges.
Kristine Nikoghosyan, the Event Manager at AffPapa & iGaming Club, noted, "The first webinar showed exactly why we wanted to launch this initiative. Bringing together professionals with different perspectives created a valuable conversation with real takeaways for affiliates. This is only the beginning, and we’re looking forward to making these live webinars a regular meeting point where the industry can share knowledge, discuss challenges, and learn from one another every month."
The complete recording of the webinar is available on YouTube for anyone who was unable to participate in the live event. Interested industry professionals can follow iGaming Club on LinkedIn to stay informed about future webinars and speaker lineups.
