Polymarket Unveils Enhanced User Protection and Trading Tools

Polymarket has introduced new user protection features and responsible trading tools to enhance the overall experience for its users. Among these initiatives are voluntary self-exclusion options and deposit limits designed specifically for individuals dealing with compulsive trading behaviors.

The prediction market is also forming a Trust and Safety team to oversee these programs across its international platforms and its operations in the United States. This includes developing new community guidelines and standards for content regulation.

In a partnership with Birches Health, the largest provider of treatment for behavioral and process addictions, Polymarket aims to improve access to psychological services for those struggling with compulsive trading.

Malea Otranto, the global head of trust and safety at Polymarket, emphasized the importance of self-governance among users, stating, "People should be able to set their own limits, step away on their own terms, and know what the rules are. That is what launched today, and it is the floor, not the ceiling. We’re excited to continue to build out from here."

Additionally, Polymarket is developing a range of educational resources to help users adopt responsible trading practices.
