BetMGM is continuing to grow as an international brand with its presence in a new market.

LeoVegas Group has launched its BetMGM brand in Sweden adding to recent European debuts in the Netherlands and the UK. BetMGM first solidified a presence in Europe with its launch in the UK in 2023 followed by its approval in the Netherlands earlier this year.

Sweden’s gaming market, with LeoVegas being the country’s latest privately owned operator, is poised to benefit from BetMGM’s presence with a slew of new gambling opportunities. BetMGM will host MGM Jackpot, Sweden’s largest jackpot, while also providing players with unique experiences that embody gambling at world-class facilities.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to bring BetMGM to Sweden,” said LeoVegas Group CEO Gustaf Hagman. “LeoVegas Group has been a leading operator in Sweden since its inception, and I’m confident that Swedish players will love the unique Vegas experience and golden offers that they will find on BetMGM. Sweden has never been closer to Las Vegas!”

BetMGM players in Sweden will be able to enjoy live casino tables from Las Vegas, including tables derived from the Bellagio Resort & Casino. The operator will also be offering Super Swedes, an odds boost concept with a focus on Swedish events.

BetMGM is preparing to continue expanding its reach across Europe with an omnichannel marketing campaign that is set to debut in November. The campaign will see LeoVegas market BetMGM via radio, TV commercials, social media, and out-of-home advertising.

Since entering Europe, BetMGM has established a portfolio of European partners that includes Premier League clubs Tottenham, New Castle, and Wolverhampton. Its owner LeoVegas will also continue to grow after acquiring Tipico’s U.S. business in June.
