Flutter Entertainment, Star Entertainment Group, and Caesars Entertainment have all seen recent changes in their team.


Flutter Animation

Flutter Ent. appointed Christine McCarthy, and Robert ‘Dob’ Bennett as members of its Board of Directors.

McCarthy will serve on the Audit Committee of the company, and Bennett will join the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

McCarthy held various senior positions in The Walt Disney Company. Most recently, she was a strategic advisor. McCarthy also held the position of Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial officer, having joined Disney in 2000.

She is currently a director of The Procter & Gamble Company, and the chair of its Audit Committee. In addition to this she is a director of FM Global as well as its Chair of Finance Committee.

Bennett, meanwhile, is the managing director of Hilltop Investments a private investment firm and is also a Director for HP and Liberty Media.

He was previously President of Discovery Holding Company and President, CEO, and Principal Financial officer at Liberty Media. In addition, he served as a director of Warner Bros. Discovery Holding Company Liberty Interactive Corporation Sprint Nextel Corporation Sprint Corporation Demand Media Discovery Holding Company Discovery Holding Company

John Bryant is the Chair of Flutter’s Board. He stated that: “Christine & Dob’s experience as entertainment professionals will prove to be a valuable asset as Flutter continues to expand its leading position in online sports betting and gaming.

We look forward to Dob and Christine joining the Board of Directors as non-executive director and taking advantage of their industry expertise and unique perspectives.


Star Entertainment Group

Star Entertainment Group announced that Hamish Mcdonald had resigned as Group Company Secretariat.

Macdonald was thanked for his contributions by The Star, who wished him “the very best of luck in his future endeavors”. The company has proposed Deputy Company Secretariat Kate Williams as an Additional Company Secretary. This is subject to regulatory approval.

Williams cannot be appointed until all the necessary approvals are obtained.

Jennie Yuen remains the contact person for ASX in accordance with Listing Rule 12.6,

Williams is an experienced governance professional who has legal, regulatory, and governance expertise. She previously worked as the Deputy Secretary of Heritage and People’s Choice Limited, as Principal Group Governance for BHP Group, and as Assistant Company Secretary and Legal counsel for Downer Group.


Caesars Entertainment

Caesars Entertainment appointed Rodney Williams as a member of its Board.

Williams is a leader in the corporate world with experience in strategic marketing, digital and luxury branding.

Gary Carano is the Executive Chairman of the Board at Caesars Entertainment. He stated that Rodney was an important addition for the leadership team. Rodney has a unique perspective on the hospitality sector thanks to his career as a beverage brand leader for some of the most well-known brands in the world.

His exceptional record of luxury brand building while at Diageo, LVMH, and as a member of the executive committee of the James Beard Foundation and as a Trustee will provide us with additional insights as to how entertainment and culinary arts are intertwined in the future.

Williams served as President of Diageo Canada and Diageo Beer Company. He spent eleven years in Moet Hennessy’s wine and spirits division, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, where he held the positions of Belvedere vodka Maison President (or Global) and Chief Marketing Officer of its entire US Brand Portfolio, as well SVP of Hennessy US.

He has also worked for Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.

Tom Reeg is the CEO of Caesars Entertainment.

Rodney has a unique perspective on hospitality. He’s been in the top echelon for luxury beverage brands. He is a strategic match for the Board of Directors because of his experience with digital, experiential, and innovation marketing. “I look forward to continuing to work with him to deliver results to our guests, team members, and shareholders.”


HappyHour.io

Kelly Kehn announced via LinkedIn that she had left her role as Industry Relations partner at HappyHour.io. She has stated on LinkedIn that she is now a director at Funnz.

Kehn, the Co-Founder and Global Relationship Director of SBC has worked with HappyHour as of June 2022. She previously served in this role at SBC from November 2019.

Kehn commented on her departure from HappyHour: “Today is my last day at HappyHour as an Industry Relations Partner. The team has been amazing and I am so grateful for all I have learned as well as the great times we had.

We built a brand synonymous with innovation in igaming. The best and the brightest in the gaming industry were introduced to newcomers. As we travelled, we funded some great dreams and received a number of awards. As I travelled, it was a privilege to see new entrepreneurs become leaders.

The story does not end there. “HappyHour’s team and their startups have been responsible for me developing a love of the startup and entrepreneurial culture. This summer, I will be working with one of our portfolio companies and on something special to align my passion for a fair future with the startup industry.
