Kayshon Boutte, NFL player, is happy to return

Kayshon Boutte, wide receiver for the New England Patriots, expressed his joy at returning to football following the dismissal of gambling charges brought against him earlier in this month.

Boutte, a native of Louisiana, was arrested on January 1st for allegedly placing over 8,900 wagers under the gambling age in Louisiana. Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division, however, dropped these charges in July.

Boutte, speaking to reporters following the Patriots training camp’s fourth day, called his actions a “dumb choice”. Boutte also admitted that he needed to stay away from gambling and was happy to focus on football once again.


Betway is global partner for Man City

Super Group, Betway’s parent company, announced Friday (26th July) that Betway is now the official global betting partner for reigning Premier League Champion Manchester City.

Man City and Betway celebrated the multi-year deal with the presence of leading figures on both sides at the New York Stock Exchange’s (NYSE) Bell-Ringing Ceremony.

Super Group CEO Neal Menashe stated that the decision will enable Betway to reach fans in “all corners of the world”.


New York Bill to extend advertising restrictions to online files

Clyde Vanel, a New York Assemblyman has introduced a bill to amend state laws in order to extend advertising restrictions on online sports betting sites.

Vanel’s bill seeks amend Section 1363 New York Racing Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Breeding Law to include online sports betting operators along with gaming facility licensees.

In New York, gaming establishments on land are required to advertise truthfully and without deceiving anyone. The ads must not include anyone under 21 years old. The gambling helpline must also be clearly displayed.


King Gaming Isle of Man license cancelled after investigation

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission has revoked King Gaming’s Isle of Man license. This termination follows an investigation into the business dealings of King Gaming.

Isle of Man Today reports that police raided King Gaming in April. The raid was in response to allegations of money laundering and fraud. As part of their investigation, police arrested 10 individuals before they were released on bail.

King Gaming’s licence has been revoked. Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission stated that it was “in the public interest” to terminate the license of the company.
