The Secretaria De Premios e Apostas has officially authorized the independent testing laboratory eCOGRAto provide its igaming tests, inspections and certification services to the Brazilian market.

eCOGRA is now able to operate in Brazil as a certifying body for live gaming studios, online games, and betting systems. This allows eCOGRA to expand its igaming service in regulated global markets.

The services of eCOGRA are now available to operators and developers across the country, allowing them to ensure that they comply with all laws and regulations in the nation.

The Chief Technical Officer at eCOGRA, Bradley Khoury said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our expertise of online gambling certification in Brazil to this vibrant market.”

This approval by the Secretaria De Premios e Apostas of Brazil’s Ministry of Finance not only demonstrates our commitment to excellence and competence, but it also opens a new exciting chapter in the history of eCOGRA.

We look forward to working with Brazilian operators to create a fair and safe gaming environment.

The approval of eCOGRA in Brazil continues the expansion of the organization in South America. In February, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism approved the laboratory to be a certification lab in Peru.

It operates 39 jurisdictions for online gambling, including Buenos Aires City, Province and Mendoza in South America, Peru, Mendoza in Colombia, and Brazil.

Khoury said: “Brazil is a market that has a rapid growth and dynamic. We are thrilled to be able to help it grow.

Our goal is to provide Brazilians with a certified gaming experience, similar to those that have been successfully implemented in highly-regulated jurisdictions.
