Connecticut Lottery Corporation has announced a deal to provide a digital service for its customers. The company signed the agreement with International Game Technology.

IGT has signed an eight-year agreement with CLC to provide its ilottery software, which will allow it to offer keno, draw-based lotteries, and other lottery games via the internet and mobile.

IGT is designing a website and an app to allow players the ability to buy keno games, jackpots from multiple states, and Connecticut-based draw-based lotteries such as Lotto! Cash5, Play3 and Play4 games with Wild Ball.

Customers can also customize a set of tools to help them gamble responsibly.

This contract will run until May 2031, with four-year extension options. It is expected that the ilottery system will launch in 2023.

Gregory Smith, CLC’s president and CEO, said: “The CLC understands that players today are looking for modern and convenient options to enjoy their favourite games.” IGT’s ilottery will enable us to provide our players with the same fantastic experiences that they get at retail, but in a digital format.

We are looking forward to the deployment of this ilottery and think that our players will welcome its expanded options.

Srini NEDUNURI, IGT’s senior vice president of global ilottery added, “IGT is a leader in delivering solutions that drive growth to its global lottery clients and we look forward to building on this momentum to introduce ilottery for the CLC players.

Our ilotry technology has been backed up by years of industry experience. Over the next 8 years, we will work closely with CLC to create a world class ilottery and generate funds for good causes in the state.
