On May 28, Caesars Entertainment (CES) and World Series of Poker, (WSoP), became the first companies to offer a pooled liquid option for three states using real money.

Caesars and WSoP have combined their player pools for Michigan, New Jersey, and Nevada.

According to a release, WSoP Online (formerly WSoP.com) is an updated platform that offers four-table functionality on mobile devices, tournaments with multiple flights and new features.

New Jersey players and Nevadans will have to open new accounts. Players will be able to transfer their existing account information, including reward points, tournament tickets, and balances when they create a username. According to the press release, the transfers will take place within 72 hours after the launch of the platform on 28 May. New Jersey players and Nevadans will need to reinstall the WSoP online app.

Texas Hold’em and Omaha are available to pooled players

Danielle Barille said in a press release that the platform upgrade was long-overdue. It is also a major win for players. We’re excited to welcome Michigan players in the fold along with Nevada and New Jersey. This will result in an improved experience, greater value, and the largest prize pools for the year.

According to the Michigan Gaming Control Board, Caesars BetMGM and PokerStars all offer online poker in Michigan. PokerStars has also been approved to allow multi-state poker.

Caesars submitted their request to regulators in April. Caesars was approved by the MGCB to provide Texas Hold’em & Omaha Internet Poker games in a new format. The MGCB must approve any new games.

WSoP opens for registration

WSoP Online launched a day prior to the World Series of Poker registration opening at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The platform will be hosting 30 online bracelet tournaments between 1 June and the 21 July. Every Tuesday, every Saturday and every Sunday in that time span you can win an official gold bracelet.

In addition to the land-based tournaments, the new platform will host satellite events that qualify players for those events. WSoP Online is hosting five hybrid high-roller events between 18 and 29 June. Starting 14 July, the final six players of each tournament will be playing live in Las Vegas.

The Main Event of the WSoP will begin on 3 July, and the final table is scheduled for 16-17th July. Daniel Weinman was the first American winner of the event last year and took home $2.1m ($1.6m/€1.9m) (PS1.6m/EUR1.9m).
