NeoPollard Interactive was announced by the joint venture of Pollard Banknote Limited (TSX), and NeoGames S.A. (Nadaq) as NeoPollard Interactive . It is the first US lottery to offer an iLottery program entirely based in the Cloud.
Cloud Solution allows for better service
The Virginia Lottery’s landmark industry achievement is a testament to NeoPollard’s ongoing commitment to improving its technology capabilities and meeting evolving demands of its lottery partners, as well as their players. NeoPollard is now the first vendor to use the cloud for its solution in the iLottery market.
Doug Pollard was co-chief executive of NPi. He explained the Virginia Lottery’s trust in NPi that enabled the cloud-based iLottery system to be offered. The business must “continually refine” its offerings in line with new technology trends.
Our iLottery solution will be delivered via the cloud to enable us better serve the Virginia Lottery as well as other iLottery programs powered by NPi.

Moti Malul is co-chief executive of NPi. He pointed out that the increase in traffic online because of “record-breaking Jackpots over the past few years” was the primary driver for iLottery programmes to look for solutions that will allow them to “effectively respond to player buy demand,” which includes solutions operating in the Cloud.

NPi’s cloud-based services include NeoDraw (the Central Gaming System (CGS for draw games), NeoSphere (the player account management system (PAM and marketing system) and NeoPlay (the eInstant Remote Gaming Server [RGS]) and the games hosted there.
Migration to the cloud offers scaleability
Kelly T. Gee is the executive director of Virginia Lottery. He was convinced of the many benefits that NPi’s cloud-based solution would bring to the lottery.
Gee stated, “Enhancing the scalability our iLottery system through the use cloud technology demonstrates that we place a high priority on a seamless iLottery user experience which supports our mission of raising revenue for our public schools.”
Cloud hosting will allow for greater efficiency in the operation and maintenance Virginia Lottery’s iLottery Program. This will enable the lottery to scale up quickly and to accommodate large jackpot runs as well as campaigns and promotions.
The Virginia Lottery, which has allocated profits exclusively to K-12 public education in Virginia since 1999, has contributed more that $11 billion as part of its commitment towards giving back.
The parent companies of the NPi joint venture had earlier in the year signed a new operating arrangement and amended the before they could pursue any future North American digital lottery opportunities as partners or individually.
