The Cordish Companies have reached a deal with Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel, Bossier City (La.) to acquire and redevelop it.
Since March 2020’s outbreak of Covid-19, the facility was closed. Cordish stated that it would be carrying out extensive construction work to replace the riverboat casino at the site with a new land-based casino.
The casino will operate under the Live!! brand once it is open. The casino would operate under the Live!
Approval of the acquisition by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board is required. Additional details about the project will be released in the coming months.

Construction would be done at the same time as ongoing work in Texas, Florida and Alabama.
