Kindred Group announced that Johan Wilsby would be leaving his position as Chief Financial Officer later this year.
Wilsby’s departure was confirmed for the fall. The group has not yet set a specific date.
Wilsby assumed the role of CFO on September 2020. He had previously held the same position with Tobii AB Fingerprint Cards, and Transmode.
Wilsby has held positions as CFO Sweden, Nordic CFO, and finance director for Western Europe at HP. He also served as CFO Sweden, and as the finance director at Microsoft.
Henrik Tjarnstrom, Kindred’s chief executive, said: “Kindred has a dynamic business and Johan was instrumental in developing corporate functions, strategic execution and the executive leadership team.”
He has been a valued colleague who has shown integrity and leadership in difficult times. I would like to thank Johan and wish him luck for his future career.
Kindred said that the process to appoint a successor for Wilsby had already begun.
Kindred announced the announcement after launching a strategic review last month. The review looked at alternatives that could lead a merger, partial sale, or sale of its business.
Kindred published its first-quarter financial results of 2023 at the same time as the launch of the review. The group saw growth in both revenue and profit.
