Soft2Bet is now ready to debut its latest products in the UK. Group General Counsel David Yatom praised the new license as a ” fantastic step forward“.
Yatom said that the new remote licences for sports betting and casino gaming were viewed as a springboard to further expansion on “further regulated market across Europe”.
Soft2Bet’s general counsel, who is also the same as the group’s chief legal officer, called the recent licensing success an important step in the right directions. Soft2Bet has a license for Spain, Denmark. The latter was obtained at the beginning of the year.
Soft2Bet is “particularly interested” in the Greek market
The company also expressed its excitement at joining the Greek market and said that it has been “of particular interest” to both the provider group and the operator group since 2021.
A year ago the Greek government decided that EUR2 ($2.14) was the cap for online wagering along with the increase in the maximum value of slot Jackpots.

The Hellenic Gaming Commission, while continuing to grant licenses to trusted brands, is also interested in encouraging a safe gaming environment among domestic players. It has therefore introduced an anonymous tipline that allows people to report illegal gambling sites and unauthorized advertising.
The Greek market is interested in fully recognizing, revealing and preventing any harm or risk associated with the black market.
