Tabcorp has hired the services of EPIC risk Management to form a partnership. This will see the consultancy that specializes in gambling harm minimisation deliver three safer gambling programs to the employees.
This will allow EPIC to deliver its executive training, harm awareness and masterclass programme.
EPIC Risk Management is proud to have partnered with the Melbourne-based group. This is an important step in its expansion plan for the Australasian market.
The group currently has clients that include Cricket New South Wales in Australia. This is where lived experience facilitators share their experiences to both male and female pathway and professional players on an ongoing basis.
“As the largest gambling operator in the world, EPIC must be able to bring its expertise to a workforce exceeding 5,000 people to try to reduce gambling-related harm across Tabcorp’s brands,” stated Martin Bland director of business development for EPIC Risk Management.

EPIC employees who have suffered from serious gambling harm comprise half of its workforce. This information is directed in a bespoke manner to partner organisations, to address the problem of gambling and prevent gambling from harming individuals and organizations.
According to the group, this is mainly in the most high-risk areas for gambling harm such as professional sports, education and financial services.
