PokerMatch International released an official comment on the sanctions against PokerMatch Ukraine. A list of companies sanctioned was created to include the company’s Ukrainian subsidiary.
PokerMatch Ukraine was among the 287 companies and 120 people that were sanctioned recently by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. PokerMatch International regretted the decision but said it didn’t expect the sanctions to have any impact on its global business.
These sanctions do not have any impact on international operations of PokerMatch. We wish to inform our partners. The company will not stop its plans to expand new areas and continue to offer its customers a full range services including all of its commitments.

PokerMatch has done a lot to help develop poker in Ukraine
PokerMatch stated that it believes the inclusion in the sanctions list of its partner is a mistake, as PokerMatch was among the first to ban Russian players’ accounts. The company also stated that it was one of the first to ban all Russian assets from its platforms. PokerMatch also ended all existing relationships with Russian companies.
PokerMatch sanctioned Russia but also donated to the Ukrainian army, and to the families in need.
PokerMatch International continued to highlight the role it played in the revival and growth of Eastern European sports poker. The poker brand also helped Ukraine’s National poker team participate in the World Sports Poker Championship in Dublin, an event in which it came out victorious.
The brand supported numerous clubs opening in Ukraine, according to the global poker brand.
PokerMatch hopes that Ukraine will change its mind
PokerMatch International reiterated its commitment to Ukraine and its people and hoped that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine would reconsider its position.
We are certain that the true name of the partner will not be compromised by any legal means. The state will also change its position with regard to the company, which is devoted to Ukraine.
