As part of its ongoing commitment to North American growth, Swedish gaming supplier Play’n Go has granted Connecticut market access.
After previous launches of online casinos in New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia, the firm has been granted a Connecticut supplier license.
North American ambitions have further led to the supplier operating in Ontario, Canada and becoming one of the first suppliers on the market.
Magnus Olsson is Play’n Go’s Chief Commercial Officer. He said: “Gaining more market access to US Igaming States has been an important goal for the company so it’s amazing to be able add Connecticut to our US push.
Online gaming companies in the US are looking to retain customers in order to avoid costly acquisitions, especially in high-priced media markets such as New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Play’n Go is aiming high for 2023 after Connecticut’s licensing confirmation. It anticipates that it will release over 50 new slots games in its regulated jurisdictions this year.
Olsson said, “Being in a position to bring Play’n Go to Connecticut – the best content for retention – is going to be music to operators’ ears,”
“Our strategy is for us to be the best in all regulated markets in the world. We are excited to join the over 25 other regulated markets that Connecticut has licensed us.
