888 Holdings has informed media that Phil Walker was promoted to the “expanded” role of Managing Director for its UK and Ireland businesses.
Walker was previously the Managing Director at William Hill. Walker oversees the day-today operations of the heritage betting company’s online and retail businesses.
Walker will now have expanded duties and oversee the performance and operation of William Hill’s UK brands.
Walker is a veteran of the industry and has held previous senior executive positions at the Gibraltar Stock Exchange (Gibraltar Stock Exchange), Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, DSG International, Littlewoods, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, Gala Interactive, DSG International, and Littlewoods.
Walker wrote on LinkedIn: “I’m happy that I’m beginning a new position at 888 William Hill as UK & Ireland Managing director.”
This appointment follows 888’s most recent trading update in which it warned of a 3% drop in revenue for the 2022 financial year. Partly due to increased UK safer gaming measures.
In the trading update, 888 announced that Yariv Dafna will step down as Group CFO.
