Despite a decline in handle, the New Hampshire Lottery has reported increases in revenue from sports betting both year-onyear and month-onmonth.
The players bet $65.1m, down 10.9% on the $73.1m they wagered in April 2020. This is 37.0% less than the $103.4m record in march this year.
Online wagering in April totaled $56,8m. Another $8,3m were placed at retail sportsbooks.
The revenue generated from sports betting in April was $6.7m. This was 97.1% more than 2022, and 39.6% higher than March.
Retail betting generated $586,755 per month, while internet betting brought in $6.1m.
New Hampshire collected $3,0m from sports betting in a single month.
The total handle of the year up to April 2010 was $792.2m. Gross gaming revenue was $69.6m with tax at $31.8m.
