Mississippi’s sports betting revenue remained flat year-over-year in July at $2.5m, despite a small dip in spending by players.
June of this year, revenue was 38.9% higher than the $2.5m reported in July 2022.
The total handle was $17,7m. This was down by 3.3% compared to $18.3m in the previous year, but still 13.2% behind June’s $20.4m.
The casinos on the coast made $1.2m total revenue and received $11.5m of bets.
The central casinos saw a further $3.9m in revenue, while the northern casinos had a handle of $2.3m, and revenue of $403,005.
Baseball was the most popular sport in Mississippi, attracting $9.6 million in wagers. This total included $6.8m wagered in coastal casinos of Mississippi.
