The Celtics are championship material
The Boston Celtics are looking good heading into the Eastern Conference finals, despite some dips in their form. The final game of their semifinal series against 79ers was nothing less than brilliant. They managed to limit the new NBA MVP Joel Embiid’s scoring to just 15 points.
Jayson Tatum was the offensive star, scoring 51 points, his best since the 2023 All-Star Game.
The Celtics put on a great show, but not many can claim to be surprised. We also predicted they would beat the 76ers, and cover the spread. Why? The Celtics always perform well when they play on their own turf.

Miami Heat ready to make it hard for the Celtics
The Heat reached the Conference Finals by beating the NY Knicks in the series 4-2. Even though they were expected win, you can still learn a lot from these six games. They were excellent in defense.
They held the Knicks scoreless in the final game. It’s even more impressive that they won Game 3 105-86. The Celtics will be pushed to their limits by the Warriors, even at TD Garden.
They may not be the best on the road, but they beat Boston last time they played in Massachusetts. They did it in overtime, but only during the regular season. They are still confident that they can achieve something similar.
