has reached an agreement with Rei do Pitaco to offer its online betting platform to the Brazilian daily fantasy sport operator. This partnership will last for a long time.
Rei do Pitaco, under the terms of this agreement, will use Kambi’s technology to launch an online real-money sportsbook. This includes a range of APIs as well as differentiation tools.
The Brazilian operator will be able to offer a more localized service alongside its products, such as Kambi Bet Builder.
Brazil has yet to legalize sports betting. However, it is working towards this goal. It is anticipated to become one of the most important sports betting markets worldwide once it has been regulated.
The country, however, will need to wait longer to get that door open as it failed to meet the deadline earlier in the month to register the sector.
Mateus Datas commented, “We are happy to have agreed on this exciting sports betting partner with Kambi,” said Mateus Dantas CEO and Co-Founder at Rei do Pitaco.
We are certain that this operation will deliver a leading online sportsbook to our rapidly-growing customers. They will enjoy an exceptional and secure user experience.
Kambi technology will be used by the mobile-friendly Rei do Pitaco to provide sports betting services and grow its fantasy sports client base. This includes more than 3.4 million app downloads in 2019.
Recently, the operator secured venture capital funding to expand its operations into sports betting. It also received investment by FanDuel co-founder Nigel Eccles who now serves as the Chair.
“Brazil is poised to be one of the largest, most regulated, sports betting markets in the world,” said Kristian Nick0_, Kambi’s CEO and co-founder.
“The ambitious and talented team behind Rei do Pitaco are working on exciting plans. This agreement is testament to our sportsbook technology’s ability to help us achieve those goals and strengthen our position as the best sportsbook partner across Latin America and the globe.”
