Rei do Pitaco, the biggest daily fantasy sports provider (DFS), in Brazil has partnered with Kambi to develop a betting platform.
Kambi will use its technology to launch an online real-money sportsbook. This is ahead of expected regulation of Brazil’s wagering market .
The customisable technology of the Swedish supplier to B2B will be included. It also includes a suite of APIs, differential tools and a set of other APIs. This goal is to create a “highly localized product” for Brazilian players. Panellists at SBC events highlighted this as being crucial for Latin America’s success.

Kambi, RDP believe the sportsbook’s launch will be a success because of RDP’s reputation in Brazil as an industry leader in fantasy football products.
RDP’s app for mobile has been downloaded over 13.6 million times in the year since its launch. RDP hopes to capitalize on Brazil’s eagerly-awaited sports betting regulation.
RDP secured venture capital to support its expansion ambitions, as well as plans for sportsbook expansion. This includes investments by Nigel Eccles, the FanDuel co-founder, who assumed last year the Chair position on the DFS platform.
Brazil is currently at an important crossroads in its quest to fully regulate betting. Despite the popularity of the decision, President Jair Bolsonaro failed to act by the 12th December deadline.
