IGT signed an agreement Ruby Seven Studios, which allows the global gaming company to supply more content to the studio in order for it to expand its reach into regulated markets.
The deal will see Ruby Sevens’ content library enhanced by several IGT titles, including Top Dollar Premium, Wheel of Fortune, Wolf Run Eclipse, and Top Dollar Premium.
“We are thrilled to expand the Ruby Seven Studios content collection with a great variety of IGT games,” stated Michael Carpenter. He is also the founder and CEO of Ruby Seven Studios. “This IGT content features some of the most popular and well-known names in slot machines, and now our partners can offer it to players at their favorite social casino.”
This announcement comes just after IGT published its Q4 2022 results. It revealed that the gaming business division had experienced exponential growth and its operating profit increased by 432% YoY for 2022.
The comedy claimed that this was due to a significant operating leverage and a reduction in its overall costs base. However, it still had higher supply chain costs.
IGT hopes to expand its gaming reach further with this deal. The lottery unit had shown signs of stagnation up through 2022.
The deal comes as the company strengthens its PlaySports betting solution, which has recently gained popularity in Ohio. It has a deal with BetSkybox to provide its PLaySports retail gambling kiosk.
“IGT is delighted to establish this relationship Ruby Seven Studios as it expands the offering of our proven land and online casino gaming content within the social casino space,” stated Jennifer Fales IGT Vice President of Global Licensing and Social Casino Gaming.
“We provide Ruby Seven Studios content that players love and the tribal casinos that have partnered with Ruby Seven Studios have had great success with the land-based version of these games.”
