The sports technology and media company DraftKings announced today the launch the first free, ad supported TV (FAST), on Samsung TV Plus. DraftKings Network.
Reaching New Audiences
DraftKings Network will be launched on Samsung TV Plus, which will allow DraftKings to expand its sports media. This is done by leveraging Samsung’s streaming TV platform and video-on demand, with more than 250 channels live in the US, and thousands of movies and shows streamed online on Samsung Smart TVs and Samsung Galaxy devices.
Takashi Nakao is the senior director for business development and content acquisitions at Samsung Electronics. He explained that the collaboration with DraftKings would bring a “fresh and crisp look” to the modern sports news and entertainment programs… on millions of devices across the US.

The first 24/7 FAST Channel launched on Samsung’s platform features top talents and trusted personalities from across the sports media. This channel creates a destination that is new for sports fans, bettors, and provides them with engaging content to experience the excitement of the action.

Start with original shows
DraftKings Network will launch with original programming, including The Dan Le Batard show with Stugotz and Ross Tucker’s Football Podcast, Jared Carrabis as the national baseball voice, Golic and Smetty featuring Mike Golic Sr. and Jessica Smetana and GoJo with Mike Golic Jr.
Journeyman will premiere on DraftKings Network from May 10 featuring Andrew Hawkins, a former NFL player. The show is a humorous take on sports, culture and life through the eyes of NFL journeymen.
The second show, which will premiere on June 1, will feature NBA expert Amin El Hassan, and sports personality Charlotte Wilder. Together with their guests, they will provide the audience with daily basketball takeaways, including opinions and interviews, as well as games and fun.
DraftKings Network is available across all 2016-2023 Samsung Smart TVs, Samsung Galaxy devices, and Samsung Family Hub refrigerators free and without the need for a subscription or login, as a video stream on DraftKingsNetwork.com, and in audio and video formats on platforms such as iHeart Radio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and Twitch.
A scrolling Ticket will be displayed at the bottom of each screen to keep viewers up-to-date on the latest scores, odds and results. QR codes will lead users to DraftKings Network tailored offers.
