Everi Holdings is a global leader in technology solutions for the gaming industry and has confirmed Wednesday a top-ranking appointment. Debra Nutton was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Even though the appointment was announced this week, Everi said that it will take effect on April 1, 2023.
Nutton brings decades worth of experience to the company’s Board. Nutton joined the company’s Board because she met all requirements. She is now an independent director “for New York Exchange rules”. Nutton was also elected to the Board’s Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. Nutton is filling a vacant seat on the Board, which currently has nine members.

Michael Rumbolz (executive chairman of Everi’s Board) welcomed Nutton into the company’s expanding team. Nutton is an experienced leader with a track record, which makes her a valuable addition to the Board.
Rumbolz noted that Nutton will be providing strategic advice which is going to ultimately help the company improve its products. This will increase Everi’s profits as well as its global footprint. Rumbolz concluded that “Debra joined us at an opportune moment to assist with the extensive growth opportunities that will take Everi even higher in coming years.”

Nutton has over 40 years of experience in the gaming industry. She was previously the executive vice president of casino operations at Wynn Las Vegas. This was her role from 2013 to 2018.
She also advised Encore Boston Harbor on its upcoming opening. Nutton was also a key player in providing strategic advice to Resorts World Las Vegas, which opened in 2021.
Nutton’s professional experience includes board membership with Global Gaming Women and an advisory board role with Global Gaming Expo (G2E). Nutton was also part of MGM Resorts where she held the position of senior vice-president of casino operations. Nutton received the 2018 Great Women of Gaming Achievement Award for her work and contributions to the gaming industry.
