Denmark’s new initiative is expected to help lead the research on gambling addiction, and develop a safer marketplace for its customers. The research will take place under the leadership of a new Danish Gambling Committee, which will concentrate on the vertical. It will also join forces with experts and researchers in the field.

The Danish Gambling Committee has secured funding in the amount of DKK 12,000,000 ($1.8million) that will be crucial for its research over the next three-year period. The funding was provided by leading gambling operators who have established themselves on the regulated gambling markets in Denmark.

These companies include Danske Spil, Mr Green, Betsson Group, Kindred Group and Spilnu.dk. All of the above gambling operators hold a licence from the Danish gambling authority. This move confirms their commitment towards responsible gaming.

The Danish gambling market has a reputation for being the most strictly regulated gambling market in the world. The sector in Denmark has grown significantly in the past decade, largely due to online gambling.

The growth of the Danish gambling industry is obvious, but research on responsible gambling and gambling problems has not been able to keep pace. The Danish Gambling Committee’s efforts will be centered on this. The Committee will concentrate on four key areas. The Committee is expected to focus on four key areas:

  • Treatment for problem gambling
  • Preventing gambling harm, especially among vulnerable groups like children and young people
  • Online gambling harm prevention
  • Learn more about gambling addiction

Research is Crucial for the Prevention of Problem Gambling

Kate Jacquerot is the legal director of Danske Spil in charge of responsible gaming. She said the company was delighted to support a Danish gambling market that is safe and secure. She added that Danske Spil was “happy” to support the Danish Gambling Committee where independent research could play a crucial role in creating new knowledge about how best to prevent and care for gamblers who show signs of addiction.

” The Kindred Group believes that it is essential to invest in research on the prevention and treatment for gambling addiction.

Kim Olesen is the general manager of Kindred Group for Denmark and Italy.

Kim Olesen is the general manager of Kindred Group for Denmark and Italy. He said that it was important that the company invests in research to treat and prevent problem gambling and addiction. The general manager said this initiative is in line with Kindred’s aim to achieve zero revenue generated by problem gambling. He also explained that Kindred does not want to profit from people with a “unhealthy relationship” with gambling.
