Continent8 Technologies has greatly bolstered their position in the US gambling market by expanding its site service capabilities to five US jurisdictions.
To strengthen its presence in these territories, the security and hosting provider has added a new site to its services in Iowa and Illinois.
Each state had previously used Continent 8’s managed service offerings and in-state infrastructure capabilities.
Continent 8 provides secondary and disaster recovery services in the states with improved infrastructure to increase the state’s resilience.
Justin Cosnett is Chief Product Officer at Continent 8. He stated: “Data center resilience should be a consideration when planning infrastructure. We know that state regulators want licensed operators to provide reliable and resilient services to customers and their partners.
“We built our offering so operators and suppliers can use our MPLS-connected backbone for disaster recovery, backup, or active-active capabilities to ensure availability.
“Multisite, in-state infrastructure allows Continent 8 the ability to offer an inclusive off-site backup service via its regulated Public iGamingCloud solution. We provide the best infrastructure solutions to allow customers to focus on what they do best, which is the success of their businesses.
All sites of Continent 8 connect to their global private network, which is available in more than 90 locations, including 25 US states.
