Gaming Realms is now officially part of the Portuguese online gambling ecosystem. This will be done through a partnership between Betclic.
This latest tie-up, which comes after the company expressed significant confidence in its H1 performance and reflected on it, will give the online sports betting and casino operator an additional boost of content.
“Gaming Realms provides unique content that resonates across a broad demographic of players. It offers entertainment in the bingo and slots sectors,” said Geoffroy VIlliot. He is Head of CRM Operations for Betclic Group.
This collaboration will add a new, attractive proposition to our website and we are excited to be the first operator in Portugal to launch their games.
Slingo Sweet Bonanza, Slingo Starburst and Slingo SuperSpin are among the games that will be integrated into Betclic’s platform by this igaming provider.
This latest market entry, which is being hailed as “an important step”, will help Gaming Realms to expand its foothold in a variety of jurisdictions.
“Entering Portugal marks a significant milestone for Gaming Realms, and is testament of our commitment to distribute across regulated markets worldwide,” said Gareth Scott Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Realms.
We see huge potential in the Portuguese Market and the introduction of our content through Betclic is an excellent way to introduce ourselves in the country.
Gaming Realms expressed significant confidence earlier in the week that the company would achieve continued growth throughout the rest of the year. The board was said to be “comfortable” with market expectations regarding FY23 financial results.
The total revenue grew by 36 percent to PS11.5m (PS8.5m in 2022), and licensing revenue grew 46 percent to PS9.8m (PS6.7m in 2022). The social segment of the group declined by two percentages to PS1.8m.
