Kambi Group signed an agreement for online betting with Rei do Pitaco, the biggest daily fantasy sports provider in Brazil.
This multi-year agreement will allow RDP to use Kambi’s leading technology and services for launching a real money online sportsbook. The partnership is being launched in Brazil. Brazil is currently regulating betting, and it is expected that Brazil will be one of the most regulated countries in the world.
The success of mobile-led RDP’s fantasy sports platform has been built by a strong focus on Brazil’s most beloved sport, soccer. Since its launch in 2019, the operator’s mobile application has been downloaded more than 3.4million times. The company plans to expand its customer base by adding sports betting.
The operator will benefit from Kambi’s award-winning products, such as Kambi Bet Builder, and Kambi’s customized technology.
RDP has recently received venture capital funding to accelerate its growth and support the company’s move into sports gambling. Nigel Eccles (a technology entrepreneur who co-founded FanDuel) has invested in the company. He was also appointed Chair of RDP last year.
Kristian Nylen (Kambi CEO and co-founder) stated: “Brazil is the potential to become one of the largest regulated sporting betting markets in the world so I’m delighted Kambi has partnered up with Rei do Pitaco. A company that I feel uniquely placed to win a strong position within the country.
“The ambitious and talented Rei do Pitaco team have great plans. This agreement is testament to our technology and strength to help them achieve their goals. It also strengthens our position in Latin America as the top sportsbook partner.
Mateus Dantas is the CEO and co-founder of Rei do Pitaco. He said, “We are happy to have signed this exciting sports betting partner with Kambi. We are certain that this operation will deliver a leading online sportsbook for our rapidly-growing customers. They will enjoy a safe and enjoyable user experience.
